Get off the emotional rollercoaster
Drama kings and queens will spin your head around unless you understand what is really going on: They are doing it on purpose. Their reality isn't the same as yours. To them, chaos is exciting, and peace is boring. Lies further complicate the story, and prevent any resolution...which is why they tell them so often. To them, it keeps life interesting. They go from 100% yes to 100% no in the blink of an eye for no apparent reason. If you reject them, they will chase you, and if you accept them, they know it’s time to walk away. The whole thing is a soap opera of their own creation, yet they often feel like they are an unwitting victim and will seek sympathy from you. You are a mere character in a story that started long before you arrived. You can waste months or even years of your life trying to understand why anyone would do this. But the fact that you don't understand means this isn't the place for you, and that's a good thing. There's no happiness
